I feel really proud of myself for at last posting a photo, just hope I can repeat the process more than once. This little quilt was in the Quilts in the Garden Exhibition last year (2009) I used my wibbly wobbly cutting and weaving methos to make the background and bonded the stylised flowers. Fun to make and I hope Fun to look at. This work is for sale so please ask questions if you are interested in buying.
Thank you for looking.

Hello Again.
Its been some time since my last post and quite a lot has happened in that time. Our son is to be a Daddy, our eldest daughter is back with her husband and I have been to visit my friend Linda. She looked really ill and was in a lot of pain but we hd an hour together then she had to go back into hospital. She also gave me her Embellisher, I had been trying to save for one but she kindly gave me hers (on permanent loan) Anyway I tried it out last night for the first time, learned how to change needles before I could start then proceded to break two.I'm sure I'll get the hang of it with practice and Linda says I'll be hooked, we'll see.I'm working on a quilt for Loch Lommond show 2011 using my favourite block, half square triangles, the colours are Red, Black and White. I made up a sample a long time ago, in these colours, and laid it aside I printed out entry forms and started to work on a top but it is hard work, not really coming together, so I stopped that one tried a few other blocks then found the old sample and decided to roll with it, its quite strong colour wise and has a little twist so I hope they like it.I had to start WORKING on soomething or this new studio would never have been organised, well getting into some kind of order. The next thing I will attempt is to post photos on this blog, wish me luck. Call in again
